Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who traveled to Geneva to participate in the third round of indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the United States, met and held talks with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidy.
During this meeting, Iran’s views and positions on the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions were fully explained and the country’s considerations were reflected to the Omani side.
Araqchi, while appreciating Oman’s efforts to advance the diplomatic process, said the success of the negotiations depends on the seriousness of the other side and the avoidance of contradictory positions.
The Omani Foreign Minister also praised Iran’s steadfastness in pursuing the diplomatic path, emphasizing his country’s readiness to continue mediation and assistance, and expressed hope that with mutual seriousness between the negotiating parties, a satisfactory outcome will be achieved for all.
This round of negotiations, mediated by Oman, will be held in Geneva today, Thursday.
