Mujahid: Islamic Emirate’s response to Pakistan’s invasion will be “military” and “secret”

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, emphasized in an interview with the Persian-language Al-Arabiya channel that Pakistan must receive a response for its “shameful” action against Afghan soil.

He did not provide further details, calling the type of response “confidential” but specifying that it would be “military.”

Mr. Mujahid added that the Islamic Emirate will act at the appropriate time and with the necessary decisiveness.

These statements come at a time when so far only India and the United Arab Emirates have condemned Pakistan’s attacks on civilian areas of Nangarhar and Paktika, and most countries have remained silent on the matter.
