Islamic Emirate rejects Russian claim about presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan

Maulvi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, categorically rejected the recent claim by Russian sources that fighters from international terrorist organizations are present on Afghan soil, calling these reports false and repetitive.

Mr. Mujahid emphasized that we regret that such claims are being made from sources in Russia; claims that have been repeated in the past, even since the time of the United States occupation, and we reject them in general.

He added that Afghanistan is in a stable security situation, the entire geography of the country is governed under a single government, and no foreign group is active in this territory.

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate called on Russian officials to correctly understand the realities in Afghanistan and update their reports based on the objective and current conditions in the country.

The Islamic Emirate has repeatedly emphasized that it will not allow Afghan soil to be used against any country and that overall security in the country is ensured.
