Israeli defense officials say there is no completely reliable missile shield against Iran’s growing arsenal

Israeli media outlet Ynet reported that senior Israeli defense officials have acknowledged that no defense system can fully resist Iran’s missiles, which are likely to reach 5,000 by 2027.

Even the advanced Arrow, David’s Sling, and Iron Dome systems would not be able to fully intercept missiles in the event of a widespread, saturation attack.

This assessment shows that the Iranian missile threat seriously endangers not only Israel but also US bases and its regional allies.

Israeli officials have emphasized that this growing arsenal poses a major strategic challenge and necessitates a fundamental overhaul of air defense doctrine and regional cooperation.
