Pakistan’s Defense Minister: US has killed 100 to 120 million Muslims in the past quarter century
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made controversial statements that the United States has killed between 100 and 120 million Muslims in the past quarter century (25 years).
He raised this statistic in a recent speech or interview, emphasizing that this number of deaths was a direct result of American wars, military attacks, sanctions, and intelligence operations in Muslim-majority countries.
Khawaja Asif added that these American actions not only targeted Muslims, but also used various excuses, including the fight against terrorism, the spread of democracy, and human rights, to justify these killings.
These statements come at a time when relations between Islamabad and Washington have been characterized by many ups and downs in recent years, and Pakistan has repeatedly criticized America’s unilateral policies in the region.
So far, no official response from the US government has been released to this claim by the Pakistani Defense Minister.
