Millions of Iranians participate in nationwide rallies to mark the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution
Magnificent, millions-strong popular marches began this morning, Wednesday, February 12, in Tehran and more than a thousand districts and points across the country, coinciding with the National Day commemorating the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s revolution.
Millions of Iranians marched along designated routes to the squares and main centers of cities to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution with all possible splendor.
The Tehran Islamic Propaganda Coordination Headquarters announced that participants will gather on the roads leading to Tehran’s Azadi Square starting at 9:30 a.m., and the main ceremony will be held in this square.
According to the plans, this year’s popular marches will be held in more than 1,400 cities and villages in the country, and this event will be attended by a wide range of people from different walks of life.
