Meeting of the Afghan Red Crescent and the Turkish Religious Affairs Directorate to support orphans and Ramadan Iftar programs
A coordination meeting was held between Hafiz Aziz-ur-Rahman, Deputy Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and Emrah Kan Demir, Representative of the Turkish Religious Affairs Directorate in Afghanistan, regarding supporting orphans and organizing iftar programs for the needy during the upcoming month of Ramadan in Kabul and a number of other provinces.
The Afghan Red Crescent Society announced that Hafiz Aziz-ur-Rahman emphasized in this meeting the importance of cooperation of all charitable organizations in supporting orphans, especially during the cold winter season.
Emrah Kan Demir also stated that on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, winter clothes will be donated to orphans in a number of provinces of the country, and iftar programs will be organized for the needy and low-income families.
This cooperation reflects the joint efforts of the two organizations to reduce the livelihood problems of orphans and needy children during the winter and Ramadan.
