Dr. Araqchi: There is a possibility of deception and fraud in the negotiations; we do not trust the Americans

In a frank statement about indirect negotiations with the United States, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi emphasized that there is a possibility of deception and fraud on the part of the American side.

“We have considered the possibility of deception,” he said, adding: “We don’t trust them.”

Araqchi clarified that he has warned all officials and institutions, “I have told everyone to be careful and not be deceived.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that “I have said in all meetings that everyone should do their own thing and have nothing to do with the negotiations, whether it is the armed forces, the government, or anywhere else.”

He concluded by noting: “The country should be governed regardless of the negotiations, and no part of the country’s affairs should wait for the outcome of the talks.”
