A large fire broke out in a local market in western Tehran, thick smoke visible from various parts of the city
Officials from the Tehran Fire and Safety Services announced that on Tuesday, February 3, a large fire broke out in a local market in the west of the Iranian capital, with thick smoke visible from different parts of the city.
The fire started near Niayesh Highway in the residential area of Jannat Abad and engulfed a warehouse with an area of about two thousand square meters. The warehouse was the location of several stalls and commercial units.
Firefighters are still working to contain and completely extinguish the fire, with a large presence at the scene, and no reports of casualties have been received as of the time of publication of this news.
