Balochistan Liberation Army launches massive, simultaneous attacks on Pakistani military installations in 10 cities of Balochistan
The group known as the Balochistan Liberation Army announced that it had carried out a coordinated and extensive operation against Pakistani army military installations in at least 10 cities in Balochistan province.
According to the group, these attacks were also one of their largest operations in recent months.
Pakistani officials confirmed that security forces responded quickly and brought the situation under control, but no official figures on casualties or damage have been announced yet.
In recent months, insecurity in Pakistan, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has intensified, and attacks by armed groups such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Baloch separatist groups have increased significantly.
Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest but least developed province, has been facing armed insurgencies for years due to political grievances, discrimination and disputes over natural resources.
