In response to Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements yesterday about trying to disarm Hamas throughout the Gaza Strip, Suhail al-Hindi, a prominent member of the Hamas political bureau, emphasized that the resistance’s weapons are directly related to the continuation of the occupation and that any decision regarding these weapons will be a Palestinian national decision.
Regarding rumors of Hamas leaders leaving the Gaza Strip, Al-Hindi said that it is not in our vocabulary that any of Hamas leaders, commanders, or members would move outside the Gaza Strip.
He added that the withdrawal of Hamas leaders from Gaza does not mean protecting them, and so far, a large number of the movement’s leaders have been assassinated outside the Gaza Strip.
These statements come at a time when the Zionist regime continues to insist on continuing military operations in Gaza and trying to disarm the resistance, while Hamas leaders emphasize staying in Gaza and continuing the resistance.
