Araqchi responds to JD Vance: The destruction and casualties of recent terrorist operations in Iran are catastrophic

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi responded to US Vice President Jed Vance’s statements in a message on his Facebook page and published statistics on the destruction and casualties caused by recent terrorist operations in the country.

In this message, Araghchi wrote that in response to J.D. Vance’s message to American demonstrators, who said that if you storm a church or attack a federal soldier, we will do everything in our power to send you to prison, it is necessary to clarify the true extent of the destruction and casualties caused by similar terrorist acts in Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Minister announced the list of damages as follows: 305 ambulances and passenger buses, 24 fuel tanks, 700 local grocery stores, 300 private homes, 750 banks, 414 government buildings, 749 security areas, 120 Basij centers, 200 schools, 350 mosques, 15 libraries, 2 Armenian churches, 253 urban wireless stations, 600 ATMs, and 800 private cars.

Araqchi also announced the number of human casualties and the total number of deaths at 3,117, including 2,427 civilians and security forces, and 690 terrorists.

The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that these statistics indicate the catastrophic and organized dimensions of recent terrorist operations, adding that such actions have not only targeted national security but have also destroyed the daily lives of ordinary people, public infrastructure, and religious and educational places.

This message was released at a time when verbal tensions between Iranian and American officials have increased in recent days, with both sides accusing each other of supporting unrest and violent acts
