Putin receives invitation to join Gaza Peace Council, Kremlin is considering proposal
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to join the proposed “peace council” regarding the Gaza crisis.
Peskov said that Moscow is carefully examining all the details of the proposal and hopes to establish direct contact with Washington officials in the coming days to clarify its various aspects.
In another part of his remarks, he referred to the issue of Greenland and said that it is difficult to disagree with the opinion of some experts who believe that Donald Trump will make world history by resolving the issue of annexing Greenland to the United States.
These statements come as Russia has attempted in recent months to play a more active role in mediation or participation in international initiatives related to Gaza, while tensions between Moscow and Washington over various issues continue.
