The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the country’s air systems managed to intercept and destroy 34 drones belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces last night.
According to the ministry, the downed drones were detected and destroyed over the Rostov-on-Don, Bryansk, Volgograd, Belgorod, Kursk and Voronezh regions, as well as over the Sea of Azov.
The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that this defensive operation was carried out without causing significant human or material damage in the areas covered.
This incident comes as Ukrainian drone attacks deep into Russian territory have increased in recent months, and Moscow regularly reports the destruction of a significant number of these drones.
