In his latest move against the Islamic Republic of Iran, US President Donald Trump warned that any country that continues to trade with Iran will be subject to a 25% tariff on all its exports and trade relations with the United States.
Trump announced this decision on the social network Truth Social, writing, “From this moment on, any country that trades with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a 25% tariff on any trade it does with the United States of America.”
He emphasized that this tariff is “definite and final” and will not have any exceptions.
This action comes at a time when the Trump administration has once again put the policy of maximum pressure on Iran on the agenda and is trying to severely restrict international trade with Tehran through economic means.
