OIC diplomats in Jeddah emphasize joint coordination in engagement with Afghanistan

Diplomats from the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) emphasized the need to adopt a coordinated and joint approach in interacting with Afghanistan at a technical meeting held in Jeddah.

According to news sources, this technical meeting was held within the framework of preparations for the upcoming visit of the OIC Ministerial Contact Group to Kabul, and its main goal was to coordinate the joint efforts of the member countries to increase the effectiveness of this visit.

Ruslan Kaspanov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah and Deputy Permanent Representative of the country to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, also attended the meeting.

Participants in the meeting described it as an important stage in the preparation process for the upcoming trip, and the main focus of the discussions was on examining the organizational and technical issues of finalizing the Contact Group’s trip agenda and exchanging views on key aspects of future activities.
