20-members delegation from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum was sent to Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan announced that an official delegation of 20 technical and professional staff of the ministry left for Uzbekistan on Sunday morning.

According to the ministry, the 28-day trip aims to visit various technical departments of Uzbekistan’s standard laboratories, familiarize themselves with advanced laboratory equipment and modern laboratory methods, and exchange practical experiences in the fields of mining and petroleum.

This training and visit program is aimed at strengthening the technical and professional capacities of the employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, improving laboratory standards, and benefiting from the experiences of neighboring countries in the mineral extraction and processing sector.

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has emphasized that such trips and knowledge exchange programs will play an important role in developing Afghanistan’s mining sector and increasing the quality of the ministry’s laboratory services.
