One killed, eight injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa mine blast in attack on cement factory workers

According to reports on Tuesday (6) January 2026: One person was killed and eight others were injured in a roadside bomb explosion on a vehicle carrying cement factory workers in the Lakki Marwat area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

The incident came just a day after four Pakistani policemen were killed in gunfire by unidentified gunmen in the Lakki Marwat and Bannu areas of the same province on Sunday.

The tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have seen an increase in armed attacks and explosions in recent weeks.
