Saudi Arabia targeted Yemen’s border areas with artillery attacks and barrages of shells.
According to Al-Masirah TV, Saudi forces bombed the villages of the Al-Thabit area in the border city of Qatabar and the Al-Sheikh area in the border city of Munbah, and an African immigrant was injured in one of these attacks.
Initial reports indicate material damage to citizens’ property, but no widespread casualties have been reported so far.
These attacks come at a time when Yemen’s border areas have witnessed occasional Saudi artillery attacks since 2015, often causing terror and fear among civilian residents.
There was no immediate official response from Saudi authorities to these reports.
