Ukrainian drone attack on strategic Russian port in Black Sea
Ukrainian forces targeted the port of Krasnodar (Kaukaza) in the Krasnodar region on the Black Sea coast in a drone operation, damaging two Russian docks and two ships.
According to Russian sources, the attack was carried out at night using suicide drones and resulted in a fire at the port facilities.
Local authorities announced that the fire was contained and no casualties were reported.
The Kavkaz port is one of Russia’s strategic ports on the Black Sea, playing an important role in the transport of goods and logistical support of military operations in the region.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the attack and claimed that most of the drones were intercepted and shot down, but some of them hit their targets.
This operation is the latest in a series of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian military and economic infrastructure deep inside the country and along the Black Sea coast.
