Zelensky: Russia’s Oreshnik missile is undetectable
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia’s Oreshnik hypersonic missile is currently undetectable and cannot be shot down by any air defense system, even drones.
“This missile has been used throughout Ukraine, but we know how to counter it,” Zelensky added.
The Ukrainian president stressed that Kiev has asked Western partners to sanction companies that supply parts for this missile through third countries, because without these parts, Russia will not be able to produce Oreshnik.
Zelensky’s remarks come at a time when Russia has recently used this hypersonic medium-range missile in attacks on Ukraine and described it as undetectable.
