Mullah Baradar: World should expand economic relations with the Islamic Emirate instead of imposing sanctions
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the deputy economic minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, at the opening ceremony of a large commercial market in Balkh province, called on the countries of the region and the world to soften and expand economic relations with the Islamic Emirate instead of sanctions and unnecessary pressure.
Mullah Baradar added that a peaceful and strong Afghanistan in the region is not to the detriment of any country, but contributes to the peace and strength of other countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs emphasized that the Islamic Emirate believes in regional and global partnership in all-round economic and political arenas, but this partnership must be based on mutual respect for great values and principles.
He added that the Islamic Emirate’s interaction with the private sector in large and long-term projects through public-private partnerships or other contracts indicates that the environment is favorable for domestic and foreign investment, and everyone can benefit from this opportunity.
