Indian, Afghan health ministers meet :India stresses continued humanitarian aid

Indian Health Minister Jagat Prakash Neda met with Afghanistan’s Public Health Minister Noor Jalal Jalali.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, India has once again emphasized its commitment to continuing humanitarian assistance and cooperation in the health sector, especially the long-term supply of medicines to Afghanistan.

The meeting saw a symbolic handover of anti-cancer drugs and vaccines, demonstrating India’s commitment to supporting the health needs of the Afghan people.

India has assured that a larger shipment including vaccines and a 128-slice CT scan machine will be sent to Afghanistan.
