421 Afghan families return from Pakistan and Iran in one day

Yesterday, a total of 421 Afghan refugee families returned to the country from neighboring countries.

According to the Islamic Emirate’s Refugee Affairs Commission, 293 families returned to the country through Torkham port (Nangarhar), 57 families through the Silk Bridge in Nimroz, 34 families through Islam Qala (Herat), and 37 families through Bahramcheh in Helmand.

All returnee families received cash and non-cash assistance from the Islamic Emirate upon entering Afghanistan.

The voluntary and forced return of Afghan migrants from Pakistan and Iran has intensified in recent weeks.
