The Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate accepted the credentials of the new Qatari ambassador

Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, received the new Qatari Ambassador to Afghanistan.

The Prime Minister welcomed the new Qatari ambassador and expressed hope that the start of his mission would lead to further strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Referring to the historical relations between Afghanistan and Qatar, he appreciated Doha’s cooperation in difficult circumstances and said, “May God grant that our relations and cooperation will further improve and progress.”

Expressing his satisfaction with his new mission, Qatari Ambassador Al-Qashouti stated: “It is an honor for me to serve as Qatar’s Ambassador to Afghanistan and I pledge to make continuous efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.”
The ceremony was held in a friendly atmosphere, and both sides emphasized the expansion of comprehensive cooperation.
