The governor of Iran’s Khorasan Razavi province arrived in Herat at the head of a 65-member delegation
Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, the governor of Iran’s Khorasan Razavi Province, arrived in Herat Province on Wednesday, at the head of a high-ranking delegation of 65 people through the Islam Qala border port.
Mohammad Younus Qazizada, head of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, announced that during its visit, the delegation will hold regular economic meetings with Herat businessmen and investors, hosted by the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
On the other hand, Mohammad Yousuf Saeedi, spokesman for the Herat governor, stated that the main goal of the visit was to discuss expanding trade relations between the two countries, creating more facilities at the Islam Qala Dogharoon port, and reviewing the implementation of previous agreements between Afghanistan and Iran.
This trip is aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations between the two neighbors.
