Islamic Emirate calls Pakistani airstrikes a violation of airspace and promises to respond

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, strongly condemned the airstrikes by Pakistani forces on Khost, Kunar and Paktika provinces last night, calling them a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and contrary to all accepted international principles.

The statement said that these crimes were “committed based on false information and will result in nothing but disgrace and failure for the Pakistani military regime.”

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate emphasized that defending the airspace of Afghanistan and the people is a religious and legal right, and that the necessary response will be given to the aggressor at the appropriate time and place.

This official Kabul response was released after nine children and a woman were martyred and several other civilians were injured in a Pakistani airstrike on the Gurbaz district of Khost.

Mr. Mujahid has called on the international community to condemn this aggression.
