Afghanistan and Uzbekistan sign major economic agreement to redirect coal exports and supply cement and medicine

Ataullah Zaid, spokesman for the provincial governor of Balkh province, announced in a statement that major economic agreements between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have been finalized, according to which Uzbekistan will export its medicines at very low prices, especially to Kabul and the rest of Afghanistan. It supplies the country’s cement needs.

This important agreement was signed at a time when Afghanistan has been facing a severe shortage of cement in recent months. With its implementation, the domestic need for cement will be significantly met and construction projects will proceed more quickly and easily.
