Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Trade leaves for New Delhi
Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate, left for New Delhi, India, on Tuesday (November 18) at the head of a high-level government delegation, at the official invitation of the government.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced in a press release that the main goal of this trip is to activate the capacities of Chabahar Port, attract Indian investments in Afghanistan, and expand the volume of bilateral trade.
During this visit, the Afghan delegation will visit the Pragati Maidan International Exhibition and meet and discuss with the Indian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Commerce, businessmen, investors, and representatives of the country’s private sector.
This official visit is considered an important step towards strengthening Kabul-New Delhi economic relations and is expected to lead to increased trade exchanges, strengthening Afghanistan’s presence in the region’s transit corridors, and attracting more Indian investments.
