High-level Tajik delegation arrives in Kabul to strengthen relations with Islamic Emirate
A high-level Tajik delegation, consisting of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, security agencies, and key officials of the country, arrived in Kabul on Saturday.
According to news sources, the main goal of this visit is to strengthen and expand political, economic, and security relations between Tajikistan and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The Tajik delegation will also discuss future cooperation during its meeting with Afghan government officials.
Tajikistan, which has had less direct interaction with the Islamic Emirate than other Central Asian countries in the past four years, is now seeking to strengthen political relations and economic interactions with Kabul.
The sources added that the two sides will also discuss the opening of the embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dushanbe and other important issues.
