Fatal UPS cargo plane crash in Louisville, USA, massive fire, rescue operations continue

New footage shows the moment a UPS cargo plane crashed in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, with its left engine catching fire as it took off from the airport runway.

The Local sources reported that the plane crashed into a recycling plant and a car park immediately after takeoff.

UPS announced that there were three people on board the cargo plane.

The plane was carrying about 280,000 gallons of fuel, and the explosion caused by the crash caused a massive fire that engulfed several buildings.

The Louisville Fire Department also reported that at least 25 people were trapped in a nearby building amid the flames, and rescue operations were continuing.

Aerial images from the scene show widespread destruction, hundreds of meters of fire and thick smoke, and heavy damage to surrounding buildings.
