Imported electricity from Tajikistan connected to northern Afghanistan; repair of Uzbekistan line continues
The Breshna Company announced that the company’s technical staff succeeded in reconnecting the 220 kV imported line from Tajikistan, which was disconnected following last night’s earthquake.
With the connection of this line, electricity was provided to subscribers in Kunduz, Takhar, and large parts of Baghlan provinces.
Breshna’s technical teams are still on site, busy checking the stability of the network and ensuring its proper functioning.
At the same time, the repair operation of the 220 kV imported line from Uzbekistan, which was also damaged by the earthquake, continues with speed and consistent efforts by the high voltage department employees.
Breshna has emphasized that the main priority is the rapid and safe restoration of electricity to the earthquake-hit areas.
