India donates 16 tons to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health
In a humanitarian gesture, the Indian government donated more than 16 tons of medicines and diagnostic kits for infectious diseases to the country’s Ministry of Public Health.
This assistance has been provided to support the national malaria prevention program and control of other communicable diseases in vulnerable areas of the country.
The Ministry of Public Health appreciated this initiative and considered it an important step in improving health services and combating diseases.
It is worth mentioning that during the visit of Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaki, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate to India, New Delhi had earlier donated 20 ambulances to Afghanistan in order to support the health sector.
