Unprecedented unity between the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah against Israeli aggression on Blida
Yesterday morning, Israeli army forces entered the border town of Blida in southern Lebanon with several armored vehicles and took control of the municipality building.
This attack, which the Israeli army claimed was carried out to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure, resulted in the martyrdom of Ibrahim Salameh, a municipal employee who was sleeping.
Following this action, Lebanese army forces quickly took action and deployed around the town.
As the occupation continued, the Lebanese army requested additional reinforcements and prepared for conflict.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah also condemned the aggression in a statement, describing it as a clear violation of the ceasefire and US collusion, and supported the Lebanese army in its decisive response.
This joint stance demonstrates a rare alliance between the Lebanese army and Hezbollah.
Finally, after two hours, the occupiers were forced to retreat to occupied Palestinian territory.
