In a controversial incident that sparked public outrage, an unidentified person sprayed black paint on the face of Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif during a news conference, calling him a “Black face.”
The video of the incident, which has been circulating on social media, especially among Afghan users, since this morning (October 30, 2025) and has been reposted hundreds of times, shows Asif giving a speech on Afghan issues when he is suddenly attacked.
The move is apparently a response to Asif’s recent statements in the Pakistani parliament in which he strongly criticized the Afghan government and warned that Islamabad could overthrow the Kabul government without using all military force.
The incident occurred as Asif was discussing the failure of border talks with Afghanistan in Istanbul and said Pakistan was committed to taking decisive action against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Experts warn that such actions could lead to further instability in the region.
