Manzoor Pashteen, leader of the Pashtun Protection Movement, described the attacks last night (October 17, 2025) by Pakistani military forces across the hypothetical Durand Line and Paktika Province as a clear “symbol” of terrorism.
Pashteen stated in a statement that Pakistani forces have committed acts of terrorism on both sides of the Durand Line under the pretext of counter-terrorism operations and called on all people to raise their voices of protest against these atrocities.
This reaction comes at a time when recent Pakistani airstrikes on Paktika have killed at least 10 civilians, including cricket players, and injured several others, and have been condemned by the Islamic Emirate.
Afghanistan and Pakistan are also holding talks in Doha to extend the ceasefire.
