Karzai calls Pakistan’s attacks on Afghanistan “blatant aggression of people united in defense of homeland”
Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned Pakistan’s recent air and ground strikes on various parts of the country, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of civilians, including women and children, as a blatant “aggression” on Afghan territory and a blatant violation of international principles and norms.
In a statement released today, Karzai expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and emphasized that Pakistan is grappling with the consequences of its irrational and thoughtless policies and cannot escape them by attacking the people of Afghanistan.
