Imam Mahdi (AS) Scouts Organization in Lebanon Activities and Features

The Imam Mahdi Scouts Organization (A.S.), one of the most prominent cultural institutions affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon, was established in 1985 and plays an important role in socio-cultural activities and providing assistance, especially in deprived areas of Lebanon.

This organization, which aims to educate and train children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, has more than 76,000 members, including scouts and instructors, and according to sources, is at least six times larger than other scouting organizations in Lebanon.

The organization’s centers are scattered in various regions of Lebanon, including Beirut, Jabal Amel, Nabatieh, and the Bekaa.

Its members are mainly composed of students from Al-Mahdi (Ajd) schools who participate in educational, cultural, religious and social programs during the weekends.

These programs include specific training and community service activities designed to educate generations with Islamic and resistance values.
