Israeli army claims to have intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, alarm bells ring

The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday morning that alarm bells were sounded in central areas of occupied Palestine, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the Shefilea regions, following the observation of a ballistic missile being fired from Yemen.

Israeli sources simultaneously reported hearing several explosions in central areas, possibly related to the interception of a missile.

As a result of the shooting, Ben Gurion Airport operations were also suspended and passengers fled to shelters.

The regime’s army spokesman claimed that the missile was intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems, including Iron Dome, and caused no damage.

Yemen’s Houthis, who described the attack as an act of support for the Palestinians in Gaza and in response to Israeli aggression, claimed responsibility for firing a missile at Ben Gurion Airport.

Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that the Palestine 2 missile hit its target, although Israel claims to have intercepted it.
