Netanyahu orders halt to Global Solidarity flotilla; will not be allowed to enter Gaza under any circumstances

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the complete halt of the Global Solidarity Flotilla, emphasizing: “I have ordered that under no circumstances will the flotilla’s ships be allowed to enter Gaza.”

This order was issued as Israeli naval forces began intercepting and seizing convoy ships on Monday night (October 1), stopping more than 12 ships in international waters.

The Samood flotilla, the largest humanitarian maritime convoy with more than 50 ships and 500 activists from 44 countries, departed from Spain on August 31, carrying symbolic aid, including food, medicine, and medical equipment, for the besieged residents of Gaza.
