Farewell meeting of Qatari Ambassador to Kabul with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate

Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Khayarin, Qatar’s Ambassador to Kabul, held a farewell meeting with Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a press release that Mr. Muttaqi described the relations between the Islamic Emirate and the government of Qatar as historic and brotherly.

He appreciated the humanitarian assistance provided by the Qatari government to the people of Afghanistan, praised the Qatari ambassador’s mission, and wished him success in his future missions.

The ministry also wrote that Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Khayarin also called relations between the two countries friendly and expressed hope that bilateral relations would expand further in various fields.
