Ministry of Interior responds to Financial Times claim: Enemy propaganda is ineffective
The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in response to a report published by the Financial Times newspaper that claimed that “Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, has spoken of contacts with the defense and intelligence agencies of Russia, China, the United States and Europe, said that this claim is completely baseless and false.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior Affairs has emphasized that such statements have never been made by him and no official source from the Islamic Emirate has published such news.
He considered this action part of a propaganda war against the Islamic Emirate and called its goal to create a negative mentality, weaken public trust, and undermine the country’s political independence.
In its statement, the Ministry of Interior called on the media to observe professional and ethical standards and refrain from publishing fake and biased news.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior Affairs has also assured the public that such propaganda will never affect the Islamic Emirate’s determination to ensure security and maintain the country’s independence.
