Qatari PM: Israeli attack on Doha is state terrorism and Netanyahu should be tried
Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described the recent Israeli attack on the Qatari capital as state terrorism in an interview with CNN on Wednesday and announced that this treacherous act has not only destroyed Qatar’s mediation efforts but also destroyed any hope for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
He emphasized that a decisive response from the region is on the way and that an Arab-Islamic summit will be held in Doha in the coming days to approve a joint course of action.
Expressing his anger, Al Thani said: “I cannot express the extent of my anger; what Israel did is state terrorism and we have seen betrayal.”
He accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seizing every opportunity to undermine stability and peace and called for him to be tried as a person wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
