The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 72 Palestinian citizens have been martyred and 356 others have been injured in the past 24 hours as a result of the continuous attacks and crimes of the Israeli regime.
According to the ministry’s statement, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs in this war has reached 64,718 and 163,859 people have been injured.
Reports indicate that many victims are still trapped under rubble or on the roads, and that relief teams are unable to reach them due to restrictions imposed by the occupying forces.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health also emphasized that the Israeli regime has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza with systematic attacks on residential areas and humanitarian aid distribution centers.
These attacks, coupled with a severe siege and the prevention of the entry of food and medical aid, have led to a deterioration of the situation and an increase in deaths from famine and malnutrition.
