The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, condemned in the strongest terms the martyrdom operation that took place near occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the killing of at least 4 to 5 Zionists and the injury of 16 others.
The statement, published by the official Emirates News Agency (WAM), condemned the operation, which was carried out in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s violence in the Palestinian territories, and considered it a violation of international law.
This stance provoked a strong reaction from Palestinian resistance groups, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, who described it as “regrettable” and a “betrayal of the Palestinian cause.”
The UAE condemned this operation, despite previously condemning the actions of the Israeli regime, including the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza and ground operations in the region, which reflects the country’s efforts to maintain a balanced stance towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict
