The Israeli Channel 12 reported that at least 5 Zionists were killed and 16 others were injured in a martyrdom-seeking resistance operation in occupied Jerusalem, with 5 of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
The operation, which took place in an area near the town of Beit Hanina, was met with a swift response from Israeli security forces.
According to reports, a soldier from the Haredi section, in cooperation with armed citizens, killed the perpetrators of the operation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was present at the scene of the incident, boasted: “We are fighting on several fronts and our efforts are continuing. We will pursue all those who played a role in carrying out this operation and we will take stricter measures. These operations will not stop us, but we will intensify our measures.”
This operation occurred at a time when tensions in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem have escalated due to the continued Israeli military offensive in Gaza and increased actions by Zionist settlers.
