Israeli activists attack Channel 13 studio during live broadcast to stop Gaza war
Israeli activists stormed the studio of Israel’s Channel 13 on Saturday, August 9, during the recording of a popular program, demanding an immediate end to the Israeli military invasion of the Gaza Strip.
According to Al Jazeera, this action took place while thousands of people in Tel Aviv participated in a massive demonstration against the Israeli security cabinet’s decision to completely occupy Gaza City.
Videos posted on social media show protesters entering the Channel 13 studio chanting slogans such as “Stop the war” and “Leave Gaza.”
These protests were held in response to the escalation of the Israeli regime’s attacks on Gaza, including the martyrdom of 47 Palestinians on Saturday, 40 of whom were in line to receive humanitarian aid.
Protesters also called for a ceasefire agreement, the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza, and an end to systematic starvation policies against Palestinians.
