Tel Aviv and Cairo sign $35 billion gas export deal
According to Al-Masirah, the Israeli regime signed its largest gas export contract with Egypt, worth $35 billion.
The agreement, which is considered the largest export deal in the history of the Israeli regime, includes the export of 130 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the Leviathan gas field to Egypt by 2040.
According to reports, the first phase of this contract will begin next year with the export of 20 billion cubic meters of gas.
Earlier in 2019, an agreement was signed between the two sides to export 60 billion cubic meters of gas, indicating the expansion of gas cooperation between Egypt and the Israeli regime.
The agreement was signed while the Israeli media revealed yesterday that Arab countries aligned with this regime have exported products worth $116.4 million to the occupied territories, $8.16 million of which is allocated to food products.
This gas agreement was concluded at a time when the residents of Gaza are under the most severe siege by the Israeli regime, which has led to widespread criticism in the region.
