Yemen unveils new Sayyad cruise missile with a range of 800 km
According to international media reports, the Yemeni Navy announced the successful test of the new “Sayad” surface-to-sea cruise missile.
This indigenously developed missile, with a range of approximately 800 kilometers, is capable of accurately targeting moving targets at sea and has high stealth capabilities that allow it to evade detection by enemy radar systems.
According to Yemeni sources, the “Sayad” missile is designed with high destructive power and can be fired from any point in Yemen towards targets in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.
This unveiling, which took place during a military exercise, demonstrates the significant progress of Yemen’s military capability in the field of coastal and maritime defense.
This development comes as tensions in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden have intensified due to attacks by Yemeni forces on ships linked to the Israeli regime and its supporters.
