Missiles fired from Yemen into occupied Palestinian territories, Israel warns residents
The Israeli army announced on Tuesday morning 5 August that it had observed the firing of a missile from Yemeni soil towards the occupied Palestinian territories.
Following this action, alarm bells were sounded in occupied West Jerusalem and surrounding settlements, and Israeli authorities called on residents to immediately go to shelters.
This attack was carried out in continuation of the Yemeni armed forces’ operations in support of the Palestinian resistance and in response to the Israeli regime’s aggression against Gaza.
News sources have reported that the missile triggered Israeli defense systems, but no further details have been released about the success or interception of the missile.
This incident once again demonstrates the ability of Yemeni forces to target sensitive areas of the Zionist regime from a distance and has fueled the escalation of tensions in the region.
